Aliante Suisse is an independent company advising Aliante Equity Fund (AEF) a Luxembourg based fund. Aliante specializes in investing in Italian/European small and medium enterprises aiming at transforming them into transatlantic leaders by investing 2 third of the Fund outside Italy and 1 third in North America. Aliante was founded in 2006 as a Family & Friends investment company whereby the vast majority of the capital was contributed by the founders. Today the two founders are still sizable investors with no less than 10% of the Euro 300 million Fund target. Aliante invests in majority stakes and has a very active management style, working alongside the top Management to build the right team, optimize processes, investing in R&D and internationalizing companies, by opening new markets and finalizing targeted and strategic build up acquisitions especially in North America. Since inception, Aliante's Team have generated an average combined return of 3.7x MoIC or 22.9% IRR.
